JB Fitting Schedule 40 PVC female adapters are used when you need to attach to your pipe line and leave yourself with female threads. All Schedule 40 fittings that are made with male pipe threads will work with the same size female adapter. Thread tape is recommended here to ensure proper thread and joint security.
